Tell your AI the phases, days and crew, and it creates the tasks and puts them on the "Schedule" in one request instead of by hand.
Laying out the whole job
Most flooring jobs run the same sequence, from ordering material through tear-out, subfloor prep, install, and tile and grout, to final clean. Give your AI that sequence and a start date and it creates every task in order.
Lay out the schedule in Projul for [Delgado Main Floor Replacement] starting [Monday November 10]: [Deliver material to acclimate] one afternoon, [Marco Ruiz]; [Move furniture and appliances out] half a day, [Install crew]; [Tear out carpet, pad and sheet vinyl] one day, [Tear-out crew]; [Subfloor prep and moisture reading] one day, [Marco Ruiz]; [Plank install, main floor] three days, [Install crew]; [Tile set, two baths] one day, [Tile crew]; [Grout and cure] one day, [Tile crew]; [Transitions, quarter round and stair nosing] one day, [Install crew]; [Final clean and walkthrough] half a day, [Grace Oakes]. Work days only, [7:30 am to 4 pm].
Running the same sequence every job? Save it once as a template. See How do I have my AI start a project from a project or schedule template? and How do I have my AI build a whole job schedule at once?.
Crews and multi-day windows
Name a person or a team listed under "People." Naming a team pulls in current members; later changes do not affect scheduled jobs. A task can hold several date windows, each with its own people, and a repeating task cannot carry a checklist. See How do I have my AI assign a crew (people and teams)?, How do I create a crew and manage its members with my AI?, and How do I set up a repeating task (like a weekly crew meeting) with my AI?.
When the schedule moves
Schedules slip for the same reasons: a backordered delivery, a high moisture reading, or a sub not out yet. Your AI moves only the tasks named.
The plank delivery on [Delgado Main Floor Replacement] moved to [Wednesday]. In Projul, push [Deliver material to acclimate] to Wednesday afternoon and slide [Plank install, main floor] and everything after it by [three] days. Leave the [Client walkthrough] deadline where it is.
If someone edited that task meanwhile, Projul refuses the change and your AI rereads before retrying, so nobody's change is overwritten.
Checklists and photos
Your AI adds checklist steps in order; the crew checks them off, and your AI can mark a task complete and flag what was left unchecked. See How do I use checklists and complete tasks with my AI?.
A tool that can send files can upload a job-site photo into "Photos & files"; chat tools cannot yet, so those still go in through Projul, and your AI labels them after. See How do I have my AI upload a job-site photo or document? and How do I attach files to a task or an estimate with my AI?. Your AI does not touch the time clock; to read the week back, just ask. See How do I ask my AI what's on the schedule this week?.
