Projul AI Connect lets your AI create and update records in your flooring company's Projul account. Turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect" and pasting that key into your AI tool.
Everything your AI does shows up in Projul as an ordinary record, such as a lead or an estimate. This article lists what your AI can do for flooring work, with a link to the how-to.

Your AI can add a client and a lead, set the job-site address and likelihood of sale, move the lead through your pipeline stages, assign the estimator, log a call, and schedule the measure appointment.

How do I have my AI handle flooring leads and follow-ups?
Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build an estimate from a template or from scratch, with sections such as tear-out, subfloor prep, and install by room, and line items priced by quantity, unit, cost and markup, using square footage and waste factor to set the quantities. It can apply a saved tax rate or discount, add a change order, and add removed scope as a deduction. Both come out as Drafts for you to send.
Build an estimate on [project] for LVP through the main floor: [square footage] sq ft, [waste percent]% waste, tear-out and disposal, subfloor prep, LVP material and install labor at [rate], quarter round at [linear feet] ft. Apply [tax rate] tax.
How do I have my AI build a flooring estimate?
Scheduling crews
Your AI can create tasks for each phase of a job, such as material delivery, tear-out, subfloor prep and install, put a start and end window on each, and assign people or a team. It can add a checklist, mark a task complete, or set up a repeating task.
Create tasks on [project]: material delivery [date], tear-out [date range], subfloor prep [date range], install [date range], assign [crew name] to tear-out and install. Add a checklist to install: moisture reading logged, subfloor level checked.
How do I have my AI schedule flooring crews and jobs?
Photos and files
Your AI can find photos and documents already in a project and attach them to a task or an estimate line, such as a moisture-meter reading attached to the line it supports. Uploading a new photo takes an AI tool that can transfer files; a chat assistant cannot, so the photo has to go into Projul first.
Attach the subfloor moisture reading photos on [project] to the "Subfloor prep" line item on the estimate.
Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit as a message on a project, client, task or estimate, and read the client conversation on a project. It cannot send an email or text to the client; that is done from Projul.
Log today's site visit on [project]: homeowner approved the plank color and confirmed the install date.
Templates
Your AI can build and reuse estimate templates, section templates and cost-item entries, such as a whole-house LVP template or an "LVP install labor" cost item, so pricing stays consistent.
Create a section template called "Tear-out and disposal" with line items for carpet removal, pad removal and haul-off, priced per square foot.
What your AI cannot do yet
Your AI does not create, edit or send invoices, and does not touch payments, the time clock, timesheets, payroll, purchase orders, daily logs or the QuickBooks sync. It does not publish or send an estimate or change order; those stay Drafts for a person to send. See Which Projul features are not available to my AI yet?
