Tell your AI the phase, the lot, the dates and who is on it, and it creates the task in Projul and puts it on the "Schedule" for those people.
Phases, crews and one task at a time
A task needs a date window and active "People"; a team such as "Framing crew" must already exist and assigns only current members, see how to create and manage a crew.
Create a task on [Lot 214 Shell Framing] in Projul called [Wall framing and stand-up] for [Monday through Wednesday], [7 am to 3:30 pm] each day, with the [Framing crew] team on it.
Say deadline, event, or reminder for a non-work item, and an undated task lands as unscheduled work.
Whole sequences and split-day crews
Give your AI a lot's phases and durations and it builds the whole run at once, finish work and all. A repeat job can be saved as a template and stamped onto the next lot with a start date, see starting a project from a template and building a whole job schedule at once.
A task can also carry more than one window, each with its own people, so part of the crew can stay a day longer without touching the rest. See assigning a crew, people and teams.
Moving dates, checklists and marking complete
Weather and late lumber are one sentence to your AI.
Rain [Wednesday]. In Projul, move [Roof framing and sheathing] on [Lot 214] from [Wednesday] to [Thursday and Friday] and move the [framing inspection] deadline to [the following Monday].
Your AI reads a task right before changing it, so a stale write is refused. Checklist steps go on in order, and your AI marks a phase complete and reports unchecked steps, though a repeating task cannot carry a checklist. See checklists and marking tasks complete and, for recurring work like a Monday meeting, setting up a repeating task.
Reading the board and logging the site
Reading the schedule needs only a Read key, see asking what's on the schedule, and your AI can log site notes on a task. Photo upload needs a tool that can move files from your computer; a chat assistant can still read, list and attach existing files, see uploading a job-site photo and attaching files to a task.
Your AI confirms dates and people before acting; in Projul, click "Schedule" to see the task on each person's row, plus "Task list", "Timeline" and "Gantt".
Note: Your AI schedules in your Projul time zone, only active employees and subcontractors can be assigned, and time tracking stays in Projul.
