Projul AI Connect lets your AI work inside your Projul account for carpentry jobs. Turn it on in "Settings" under "Projul AI Connect" by creating an API key, then paste it into your AI tool.

Leads and clients
Your AI can add a client and lead together, with the job-site address and likelihood of sale, in a stage such as "Write", and mark the lead sold.
Add a lead for [builder or homeowner name] at [job-site address], stage "Write", and log that they called about [scope of work].

Estimates and change orders
An estimate in Projul is sections and line items: floor system, wall framing, roof framing, interior trim. Your AI sets each line's labor, material or other type, quantity, cost and markup, and Projul totals it. A change order for a wall opening, beam size or trim grade change is a new Draft version, leaving the approved version untouched.
Build an estimate for [client name]: floor system, wall framing, roof framing. Floor system: [quantity] joists at [$ per unit], [X]% markup.

Scheduling and crews
Your AI can create a task for each phase, such as layout, wall framing, roof framing and finish trim, with a date window. It can assign carpenters or a crew by team name, add a checklist, move dates, mark a task complete, or apply a schedule template to a new job.
Create tasks for [job name]: layout, wall framing, roof framing [dates]. Assign the framing crew to all three.

Photos and files
Your AI can find, read and attach a photo or document already in Projul to a task, an estimate or a line item, so a truss drawing sits on the roof framing task. Uploading a new file depends on your AI tool: some can send it, others can only attach files already there.

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit on a job, client, task or estimate, and add project notes.
Log a call with [client name] about the beam size change on [job name].

Templates
Your AI can reuse an estimate template for a shell package, section templates for a floor system or roof, and line-item templates for your labor rate.
Create a section template called "Roof Framing" from my last estimate for [job name].

What your AI cannot do yet
- Invoices and payments.
- Time tracking.
- Purchase orders and daily logs.
- QuickBooks sync.
- Publishing or sending an estimate. A person does that.
