Your AI builds a tile job as a sequence of tasks in Projul, one phase waiting on the one before it, each phase placed on the "Schedule" for whoever is on it.
Building the schedule
Give your AI the phases, durations, crews, the job, and the start date; it creates one task per phase, in order.
Build the schedule for [Castellano Master Bath Tile] in Projul starting [Monday March 9]. Demo and haul-off is [1 day] with the [prep crew]. Substrate prep and self-leveler is [1 day] with the [prep crew]. Backer board and shower pan is [1 day] with [Marisol Vega]. Waterproofing is [1 day] with [Marisol Vega], then [1 day] of flood test with nobody on it. Setting the walls and floor is [3 days] with [Marisol Vega] and [Tomas Reed]. Then [1 day] of mortar cure with nobody on it. Grout and clean is [1 day] with [Tomas Reed]. Skip weekends. Work days are [7:30 am to 4 pm].
A phase can go in with no date for unshipped tile, or as a deadline for the whole job. This needs a Read-Write key, and named people must already be employees or subcontractors under "People". A schedule template is the shorter route: see starting a project from a template.
Where it shows up
Click "Schedule" and go to that week; each task sits on the row of every person on it, and also appears under "Task list", "Timeline", and "Gantt".
Name a team and everyone on it goes onto the task right then, so a later roster change does not touch it. Subcontractors are assigned like employees, and a multi-day task can carry a different crew each day. See assigning a crew.
When the job slips
Late tile or a failed flood test pushes everything back. Tell your AI what changed and it moves that phase and the ones after it, keeping the same crews.
The [24x48 porcelain] delivery slipped to [March 18]. Move [Set shower walls and bath floor] on [Castellano Master Bath Tile] in Projul to start [March 19] and tell me what else has to move.
Your AI rereads the task before changing it, so a field update from minutes earlier is not overwritten. Not there yet
Your AI can attach photos and documents already in Projul to a project, task, or estimate. A tool that moves files from your computer uploads them directly; chat assistants cannot, so job-site photos still go in through Projul.
