Tell your AI who called, what they want and where the house is, and it creates the lead, logs the call, books the design consultation and sets the follow-up. The lead lands in "Lead pipeline" in the same column as if you had added it by hand.
The discovery call
A lead and a project are the same record, moving through "New", "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" and "Sell". Give your AI the whole discovery call, what they want, budget, start date, who referred them, and it creates the lead and logs the call. Name an existing client the way they appear in Projul. See How does my AI find a client?
I just got off the phone with [Sara Nakamura], referred by [her architect]. She wants a [rear addition, about 420 sq ft, bedroom and bath] at [1220 E Riverside Dr, St. George, UT 84790], starting [in the spring], budget around [$200k]. Create the lead in Projul, log the call as an inbound phone call we connected on, and set the likelihood of sale at [40]%.

Booking the consultation
The in-home consultation is an estimate meeting. Scheduling one moves the lead forward and makes the people on it the estimators, the same as in the app; your AI can add a checklist to the task too.
Schedule an estimate meeting on [Nakamura Rear Addition] in Projul for [next Thursday] from [10 am to 11:30 am] with [Kevin Nolan] and [James Nguyen]. Call it [Design consultation and measure].
Your AI approves the action, then gives you the project number, such as P-1598, and its card shows in "Lead pipeline" with the client's name, address and likelihood of sale.

The long design cycle
Design-build leads sit longer than trade leads, waiting on a survey, an architect or a spring start. Your AI can move a lead to any stage, set follow-up reminders, deadlines and repeating review tasks, and list stale leads with no message logged recently.
Sold, lost, and the edges
When the client signs, tell your AI and it marks the job sold; log a reason and it marks a lost lead rejected instead. See How do I have my AI schedule design-build crews and jobs? and How do I have my AI mark a job sold, completed or lost?
Note: Your AI sets the lead name, client, address, stage, notes, likelihood of sale, and the sales rep, estimator and project manager; type, source and tags are set afterward in Projul. A client matching one by name plus email or phone is reused, not duplicated. Your AI logs a call, text or site visit but cannot send one itself. See Can my AI message a client directly?
