Describe the job the way you would brief your estimator, and your AI builds the proposal in Projul. It creates the estimate on the project, adds a section for each phase, and fills in line items with quantities, units, your costs and your markup, landing in "Estimates" as a priced Draft.
What to tell your AI
The job needs a project or lead first; ask your AI to create one in the same request, or see How do I have my AI handle design-build leads and follow-ups?. A project holds one estimate, so if one exists already your AI offers a change order instead.
List the phases in order and price each line: a lump sum, or a quantity and unit cost with your markup.

Or have your AI copy an existing estimate or section template. See How do I build and reuse estimate, section and line-item templates with my AI?.
Allowances and client selections
Most proposals go out before the client has picked finishes. Ask your AI for a Selections section, where the client chooses among priced options, or an allowance shown as one number with the line prices hidden. See How do I use subsections, selections and display-only sections with my AI?.
Make the [Cabinetry] section on the [Delgado Kitchen and Great Room] estimate in Projul a selection where the client must choose one of [painted maple shaker at $18,400, stained white oak at $24,900, semi-custom at $14,200], with [painted maple shaker] selected.
Adjusting it and adding change orders
While it is a Draft, keep talking to your AI to change quantities, add lines, or write the introduction and contract text. See How do I have my AI write the introduction and contract text?.
A change order is a new version your AI creates the same way, usually for an upgrade past an allowance, a condition demolition uncovered, or a plan-reviewer request. See How do I have my AI add a change order?.
