Projul AI Connect lets an AI assistant read and change records in your Projul account for design-build work: leads, estimates with allowances and selections, the build schedule, and the files and messages tied to a job. You turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect", then paste that key into the AI tool you use.

Leads and clients
Your AI can add a lead as a project in your pipeline, add the client, set the job-site address and likelihood of sale, and move the lead through your pipeline stages. It can log a discovery call as a communication on the lead.
Add a lead for [client name] at [job-site address]. They want a [kitchen/whole-house/addition] remodel, budget around [$ amount]. Set [estimator name] as the assigned estimator and log today's call as inbound.

Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build an estimate from a template or a job description, add sections and line items with your own quantities and units, such as square feet of drywall or hours of carpentry labor, and apply your markup, tax rate and any discount. It can set up a Selections group for a client decision, or hide line prices and show only a section total for an allowance. A later change comes in as a new version on the estimate, a change order, with its own sections, line items and tax.
Build an estimate for [project name] using the [template name] template. Add a Selections section called "Cabinetry" with three package options at [$ amounts], and mark [package name] as selected.

Scheduling and crews
Your AI can create a task for each phase of a job, put it on the schedule with start and end dates, and assign crews or trade partners by naming a person or a team. It can add a checklist to a task and mark a task or checklist item complete, and shift tasks that come after a phase moves.
Create tasks for [project name]: demolition [dates], framing [dates] assigned to [crew/team name], and rough-in for plumbing, electrical and HVAC [dates] assigned to [trade partner names].

Photos and files
Your AI can read and attach photos and documents already in Projul to a project, an estimate or a line item. Whether it can add a new file depends on the tool: a chat assistant cannot upload a file, but a tool that can move files on your computer can.
Attach the site-visit photos in [folder path] to the [project name] project and label them "Framing inspection [date]".

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit as a communication on a project, client, task or estimate, and read those records back to answer a question about what was discussed and when.
Log a site visit on [project name] today: discussed the tile selection with [client name], they approved [option name].

Templates
Your AI can build and reuse estimate templates, section templates and line-item templates, and stamp a project or schedule template onto a new project.
Start a new project for [client name] from the "[template name]" project template, starting [date].

What your AI cannot do yet
Your AI does not create or send invoices, take payments, track time, create purchase orders, or write daily logs, and it does not sync with QuickBooks. It builds and edits estimates and change orders as Drafts; publishing or sending an estimate to a client is done in Projul by a person.
