Tell your AI to mark a job sold, completed, rejected or cancelled, and it changes the project's status in Projul the same way dragging the card would. Marking a lead sold converts it to a project and moves it to "Sold" in "Lead pipeline".
What to say to your AI
To mark a lead sold:
Mark [Rivera Kitchen Remodel] as sold in Projul.
To finish a project:
Mark the [Thompson Deck Rebuild] project complete in Projul.
The same phrasing works for a lost lead ("mark the Ortiz Basement Finish lead rejected") or a job cancelled after it started ("mark the Nguyen Garage Addition project terminated"). Your AI reads the project right before it writes, so a change made moments ago elsewhere in the office is not overwritten.
What you will see
Your AI asks you to approve the change, then confirms the new status. A sold lead moves to "Sold" in "Lead pipeline" and appears under "Projects". A completed project shows under "Completed Projects". A rejected lead shows under the "Rejected" filter in "Lead pipeline", and a terminated project shows under "Cancelled Projects".
Moving a lead between pipeline stages
The same request also moves a lead to any column in "Lead pipeline": "New", "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" or "Sell". Projul does not require the stages to be visited in order. Some moves also happen on their own, the same as in the app: scheduling an estimate meeting moves a lead in "New", "Contact" or "Schedule" to "Estimate", completing that meeting moves it to "Write", and completing a "Write Estimate" task moves it to "Send".
Things to know
Note: Marking a job sold does not publish, send or approve its estimate, even if your account has "Mark estimate approved when sold" turned on under "Settings" and "Estimates", that step still only happens in Projul. A sold project with a Draft estimate shows a projected total but no approved total until the estimate is approved. See Can my AI publish or send an estimate?.
Note: Rejecting or cancelling through your AI records the status only. The reason, and the options to remove future scheduled tasks or stop client email reminders, live in the "Reject project lead" and "Cancel project" dialogs in Projul.
Note: Your AI cannot move a project to a different client. That is done from the project's card in Projul.
