Tell your AI the phases, the days, and the crew, and it creates the tasks in Projul and puts them on the "Schedule", all in one request.
Laying out the job
Give your AI the sequence, insulate through hang, tape, coats and point-up, with a start date, and it creates every task in order.
Lay out the schedule in Projul for [Rockwater Lot 42 Hang and Finish] starting [Monday October 6]: [Insulate walls and attic] two days, [Insulation crew]; [Stock the house] half a day, [Hang crew]; [Hang, main floor and upper] three days, [Hang crew]; [Tape and bed] two days, [Finish crew]; [Second coat] one day, [Finish crew]; [Third coat and sand] two days, [Finish crew]; [Knockdown texture] one day, [Finish crew]. Work days only, [7 am to 3:30 pm].
A task can hold more than one date window, each with its own crew, so a coat with a different taper on its last day is still one task. Run the same sequence every lot? Save it as a template. Crews and slipped dates
Name the people, or a team; naming a team pulls in everyone on it at that moment, so a later crew change does not touch jobs already on the board. See How do I have my AI assign a crew (people and teams)? and How do I create a crew and manage its members with my AI?.
Board deliveries slip and painters fall behind. Ask your AI to move only the affected tasks; if the office edits it at the same time, Projul refuses the write and your AI re-reads before retrying.
Board delivery on [Rockwater Lot 42 Hang and Finish] moved to [Wednesday]. In Projul, push [Stock the house] to Wednesday morning and slide [Hang, main floor and upper] and everything after it by [two] days. Leave the [Builder walkthrough] deadline where it is.
Checklists and photos
Your AI can add checklist steps to a task and mark it complete, though a repeating task cannot carry a checklist. See How do I use checklists and complete tasks with my AI?.

Note: Only active employees and subcontractors can be assigned; a deactivated person or client login cannot be.
