Projul AI Connect lets the AI assistant you already use work inside your Projul account. Turn it on from "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect". This article lists what a drywall and insulation contractor can have their AI do, with a link to the how-to for each.

Leads and clients
Your AI can add a client and a lead, set the job-site address and likelihood of sale, put it in a pipeline stage, assign the estimator, log a call, and schedule an estimate walkthrough.
Add a lead for [client name] at [job-site address], set the likelihood of sale to [percent], assign [estimator name], and schedule a walkthrough for [date and time].

Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build an estimate with sections such as insulation, hang, finish and texture, add priced line items marked as labor or material, apply a saved tax rate or discount, write the introduction and contract text, and copy a template instead of starting blank. It can also add a change order, for example added sheets. Estimates and change orders are created as Drafts for you to review and send.
Build an estimate for [project name] with sections for insulation, hang, finish and texture. Use [attic R-value] blown insulation, [wall type] batts, [square footage] of 5/8" board, and apply [tax rate name].

Scheduling crews
Your AI can create a task for each phase, such as insulate, hang, tape, and texture, with a start and end window, and put a multi-day window on a coat that spans several days. It can assign a person or a team, add a checklist, mark a task complete, set up a repeating task, and move a task's dates without changing the rest of the schedule.
Create the hang, tape, and texture tasks for [project name], each [number] days, assign [crew or team name], and move any task delayed by the board delivery on [date].

Photos and files
Your AI can find photos and documents already in a project and attach them to a task or an estimate line, for example a moisture reading attached to its line item. Uploading a new file depends on the AI tool: some can only attach files already in Projul.

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit as a message on a project, client, task or estimate, including the contact method and outcome. It cannot send a message, email or text to a client.

Templates
Your AI can build and reuse estimate, section and line item templates, such as a priced "Attic blow, R-38" section, so new estimates price from your own library.

What your AI cannot do yet
Your AI does not create, edit or send invoices, or touch payments, and creates estimates and change orders only as Drafts for a person to publish and send. It does not reach time tracking, purchase orders, daily logs, or the QuickBooks sync.
