Tell your AI who called, what they want poured and where the job is, and it creates the lead in Projul's "Lead pipeline," logs the call, and schedules the site visit or plan takeoff.
Adding the lead and the client
A lead and a project are the same record at different stages; creating one needs Read-Write access. See How does my AI find a client?.
Add a new lead in Projul called [Marchetti Driveway and Patio] for a new client, [Dana Marchetti], phone [(435) 555-0142], email [dana@example.com]. Job at [1220 E Riverside Dr, St. George, UT 84790]. Tear out and replace a [two-car driveway] and pour a [patio] out back.
A name matching an existing client's first and last name plus email or phone reuses that client rather than duplicating it, and your AI tells you so. See How do I have my AI add a new lead?.
Logging calls and site walks
Your AI logs the contact method, direction, and whether you reached the person, into the project's messages. See How do I have my AI log a call, text or site visit on a job?. It cannot text or email the client itself. See Can my AI message a client directly?.
Scheduling the walk and the follow-up
The walk or a plan takeoff is scheduled as an estimate meeting, which moves the lead forward in "Lead pipeline" and assigns the estimator. See How do I schedule an estimate walkthrough with my AI?. A bid due date goes on as a deadline, and a follow-up reminder keeps a quiet lead from going cold.
Add a follow-up reminder in Projul on [Marchetti Driveway and Patio] for [next Monday at 8 am] assigned to [Grace Oakes]: [call Dana about the driveway proposal and the finish options].
What you saw on the walk goes on as a project note, alongside a corrected job-site address. See How do I have my AI add project notes and the job-site address?.
Moving the lead through the pipeline and closing it
The columns in "Lead pipeline" are "New," "Contact," "Schedule," "Estimate," "Write," "Revise," "Send" and "Sell," and your AI can put a lead in any of them.
Marking a lead sold converts it to a project, the same as dragging it to "Sold," and your AI can mark a lead lost or a job completed and log why. See How do I have my AI mark a job sold, completed or lost?.
Note: Project type, lead source and tags are set in Projul after creation; your AI sets the name, client, address, stage, likelihood of sale, notes and the assigned rep, estimator and project manager. For the next step, see How do I have my AI build a concrete estimate?.
