Projul AI Connect lets an AI assistant do office work in your painting company's Projul account. Turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect", then paste that key into your AI tool.

Leads and clients
Your AI can add a client and a lead together in your pipeline, with the job address, likelihood of sale, and stage, matching an existing client instead of duplicating one, and can read the pipeline back to you.
Add a lead in Projul for [Nora Whitfield], phone [(435) 555-0119], email [nora@example.com]. The job is [Whitfield Interior Repaint] at [742 N Bluff St, St. George, UT 84770]. Likelihood [70]%.

Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build a painting estimate from a template or from scratch, with sections such as surface prep, ceilings, walls, trim and doors, and materials, each line item carrying a quantity, unit, cost and markup, with Projul applying your tax rate. It can add a selections section, such as one coat or two, and a change order at any status, including approved.
Build an estimate in Projul for [Whitfield Interior Repaint] with sections for [surface prep, ceilings, walls, trim and doors, and materials]. [Give the quantities, costs and markups.] Apply our [Utah] sales tax.

Scheduling and crews
Your AI can create each phase of a job, such as mask and cover, patch and sand, first coat, second coat, and trim and doors, as a task with a schedule window and a crew assigned, and update every affected task at once when a job moves.
Rain Wednesday. On [Cardoza Exterior Repaint] in Projul, move the [body coat] and [trim and fascia] tasks one day later and leave the wash day where it is.

Photos and files
Your AI can list the files on a job, get a download link for one, and attach an existing file, such as a color schedule, to a task, a project or an estimate. Whether it can upload a new photo depends on the tool: an AI tool that can transfer files can upload one; a chat assistant on the web cannot, and photos still come in from the Projul app.
List the files on [Whitfield Interior Repaint] in Projul, then attach [color-schedule.pdf] to the [Trim and Doors] task.

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text, email or in-person conversation on a job, client, task or estimate, with the date and direction, keeping your follow-up records accurate.

Templates
Your AI can build and reuse estimate, section and line-item templates, so a standard interior or exterior repaint prices the same way every time.
Create an estimate template in Projul called [Standard Interior Repaint, 3BR] with the sections and line items from [Whitfield Interior Repaint], without the client-specific notes.

What your AI cannot do yet
- Invoices and payments. Your AI can read what an estimate has been invoiced and paid, but cannot create, edit or send an invoice.
- Time tracking, purchase orders, and daily logs.
- QuickBooks.
- Publishing or sending an estimate or a change order. Your AI writes the Draft; a person publishes and sends it.
