Projul AI Connect lets an AI assistant work inside your Projul account. Turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect" and connect it to your AI tool.

Leads and clients
Your AI can create a lead and client record from one description, set the job address and likelihood of sale, and assign a sales rep, estimator or project manager. It can schedule a walkthrough as an estimate meeting, moving the lead to "Estimate," and move a lead through any stage or mark it sold, lost or completed.
Add a lead for [client name] at [job address], phone [phone number]. Set the likelihood of sale to [percentage] and assign [estimator name] as estimator. Schedule the walkthrough for [date and time].

Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build a kitchen, bath or basement estimate from a template or job description, with sections in order, priced line items, markup and the correct tax rate. It can add a change order for work found once a wall is open, using the same costs and markup, with credits for removed scope. Every estimate and change order is created as a Draft for review.
Build an estimate for [client name]'s [kitchen/bath/basement] remodel using my [template name] template. Cost is [$ amount] per [unit] for [material or phase], markup [percentage].

Scheduling and crews
Once a job is sold, your AI can start it from a project or schedule template, or create one task per phase from the sold estimate. It can assign people and subcontractors to a phase, staff a crew by name, add a checklist to a task, and move a phase and the ones behind it when a delivery slips.
Start the [kitchen/bath] remodel for [client name] from my [template name] schedule template beginning [date]. Assign [crew or subcontractor name] to the [phase name] phase.

Photos and files
Your AI can find, read and attach a photo or document in a job, and give you a download link. Uploading a new file depends on the tool: an AI tool that can transfer files on your computer can add a photo to "Photos & Files"; a chat assistant cannot.
Attach the [document name] file to the [task name] task on [client name]'s project.

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit on a project, client, task or estimate, including how you reached the homeowner and whether you got through. It can also note what a client wanted or what an inspector flagged.
Log a call with [client name] on [date]. I reached them by phone and we discussed [topic].

Templates
Your AI can save a finished kitchen, bath or basement estimate as a template, build section templates for repeating parts, and add items to your cost-item library with your rates and markups.
Save the [client name] estimate as a new estimate template called [template name].

What your AI cannot do yet
Some parts of Projul are not yet available to your AI.
- Invoices and payments.
- Publishing or sending an estimate; your AI leaves it as a Draft to send.
- Purchase orders.
- Time tracking and time logs.
- Daily logs.
- QuickBooks sync.
