Projul AI Connect lets an AI assistant work inside your Projul account on the leads, estimates and schedule for a deck build. You turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect", then paste that key into the AI tool you use.

Leads and clients
Your AI can add a lead with the client, job-site address and assigned estimator, log a call, text, email or site visit on it, and move it through your pipeline from "New" to "Sold" or "Lost".
Add a lead for [client name] at [job-site address] for a [deck size and material, e.g. 320 sq ft composite deck]. Assign it to [estimator] and set likelihood of sale to [percentage].

Estimates and change orders
Your AI builds a deck estimate as a Draft, from a template or from scratch, with sections and line items in square feet of decking, linear feet of railing and hours of labor. It can add a change order to a sold job, such as a deeper footing or a rail upgrade from wood to cable.
Create a deck estimate for [client name] using my [template name] template. Decking is [square footage] sq ft of [material], railing is [linear feet] ft of [material], and add a line item for the footing inspection.

Scheduling and crews
Your AI can create a task for each build phase, such as tear-out, footings, framing, decking, and stairs and rail, put it on the schedule with a date window, and assign a crew or team.
Create tasks for [job name]: tear-out on [date], footings on [date], framing [date range], decking [date], stairs and rail [date range]. Assign [crew or team name] to framing and decking.

Photos and files
Your AI can attach a photo or document already in Projul, such as a permit set or a footing-inspection photo, to a project, task or estimate. Uploading a new file from your device needs a tool that can transfer files itself; a web chat assistant cannot.
Attach [file name] to the [job name] project and label it "[label]".

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text, email or site visit on a lead, project, task or estimate, which keeps the follow-up counts on "Lead pipeline" accurate. Sending a message to the client is done from Projul.
Log a call with [client name] today. They confirmed the stair location and asked about [detail, e.g. adding a privacy screen].

Templates
Your AI can build and reuse an estimate template for a standard deck build, a section template for a repeated part such as tear-out or stairs and landing, and add priced items to your cost-item library.
Save this estimate as a template named "[template name]" so I can reuse it for future [deck type] builds.

What your AI cannot do yet
Some parts of the job stay in Projul as they are today.
- Invoices, deposits, progress billing and payments.
- Time tracking, the clock and time logs.
- Purchase orders for framing lumber, decking, railing and hardware.
- Daily logs.
- QuickBooks sync, reports and account settings.
- Publishing or sending an estimate or a change order. Your AI leaves it as a Draft for you to review.
