Tell your AI who called, what deck they want and where the job is, and it creates the lead in the same "Lead pipeline" column as if you had added it by hand.
A lead and a project are the same Projul record at different stages.
Adding the lead
Name an existing client the way they appear in Projul so your AI finds them, not a duplicate. See How do I have my AI add a client?.
Add a new lead in Projul for [Dale Thompson] called [Thompson Deck Rebuild]. The job is at [418 W Tabernacle St, St. George, UT 84770]. He wants to tear off a [20-year-old pressure-treated deck] and rebuild about [320] sq ft in composite with [aluminum railing]. Put the likelihood of sale at [70]% and assign [Marco Reyes] as the estimator.
For a new client, give the name, phone and job address and your AI adds both; a matching email or phone gets reused, not duplicated. It can also set the likelihood of sale and assign a sales rep, estimator and project manager. Project type, lead source and tags are set afterward. See How do I have my AI add a new lead? and How do I have my AI add project notes and the job-site address?.
Booking the visit and logging the call
The measure at the house is an estimate meeting; scheduling one moves the lead forward and makes the attendees its estimators.
Book the site visit on [Thompson Deck Rebuild] in Projul as an estimate meeting for [Thursday] at [9 am to 10 am] with [Marco Reyes], and add these steps: [measure the footprint and drop to grade, check the ledger and siding, note the frost depth, photograph the stairs and rail].
Your AI also logs the call itself: contact method, inbound or outbound, whether you reached them, so the record lives on the job, not your texts. See How do I schedule an estimate walkthrough with my AI? and How do I have my AI log a call, text or site visit on a job?.
Pipeline, close, and follow-up
A new lead starts in "New"; say what you already know and your AI starts it in "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" or "Sell" instead. Completing the estimate meeting or the write task moves it along on its own.
Your AI marks a lead sold when the deposit lands, or lost with the reason on record. It can list Send-stage leads with bid totals, set follow-up reminders on ones going quiet, and pull last season's lost leads back up each winter. See How do I have my AI mark a job sold, completed or lost?.
Note: Sending anything to the client is done by a person, not your AI. See Can my AI message a client directly?.
