Read your measure sheet to your AI and it builds the estimate in Projul: sections for tear-out, units, install labor and capping, each line priced with your cost and markup. It lands in "Estimates" as a Draft.
Before you start
Your AI needs a Read-Write key and a project or lead in Projul; ask it to create the lead first if there is none. See How do I have my AI handle window and door replacement leads and follow-ups?. A project holds one estimate, so an existing one gets a change order instead.
Telling it the job
Give it opening count, style, frame material, glass package, pocket or full-frame install, trim and capping footage, and your rates. Mention a template or saved cost-item you already have and it uses that instead.
Build an estimate in Projul for [Delgado Whole House Windows]: [13] openings of [white vinyl double-hung, Low-E with argon] and [1] [picture window], pocket install, plus one [6 ft vinyl patio slider]. Tear-out at [0.75] hours per opening at [$52] with [40]% markup, units at [$412] each with [30]% markup, install labor at [1.5] hours per opening at [$58] with [40]% markup, and [186] lin ft of [aluminum capping] at [$4.80] with [30]% markup. Apply our [Utah] tax.
What comes out
Your AI adds each section and line: kind, quantity, unit, cost, markup, and vendor and part number where tracked. Projul prices it like the editor and reports the estimate number and total. Click "Estimates" for the Draft; keep adjusting by talking or edit it in Projul. A frame-material or glass choice is a selection: exactly one, one or none, or any number. Tax, templates and change orders
Tax applies only when you name a rate from settings; mark a permit line not taxable. See How does my AI calculate prices, markup and tax?. Rot, tempered glass, added openings or a switch to full-frame become a change order, a Draft that leaves the approved estimate untouched; removed scope is a display-only deduction.

Note: Your AI works while the estimate is a Draft; you publish, send and record approval in Projul. See Can my AI publish or send an estimate?. It can also write the introduction and contract text; see How do I have my AI write the introduction and contract text?. Use your own unit labels, check derived footage, and note it cannot place the factory order, only create the reminder task.
