Tell your AI who called, what they want and where; it creates the lead in Projul with the client attached, landing in "Lead pipeline" like one you add by hand.
A lead and a project are the same Projul record at different stages, so a lead your AI adds in February is the job your crews dig in May.
Adding the lead
Pool leads come from referrals, home shows, realtors, and service calls that turn into remodels. Give your AI the client's name, job address, and what they want built.
Add a new lead in Projul for [Dana Alvarez] called [Alvarez Pool Build]. The job is at [4820 E Camino Del Sol, Mesa, AZ 85206]. She wants a [16 x 32 freeform gunite pool with a raised spa]. Put the likelihood of sale at [60]% and set me as the estimator.
For a new client, add phone and email too; for an existing one, use their Projul name to avoid a duplicate (How does my AI find a client?). It can also assign a sales rep, estimator or project manager; project type, lead source and tags are set afterward (How do I have my AI add a new lead?).
Once approved, your AI reports the project number, and "Lead pipeline" shows the lead in the "New" column with the client, address and likelihood of sale on its card.
Logging calls and booking the visit
Have your AI log every call, text or site visit, including whether you reached them, for accurate follow-up counts (How do I have my AI log a call, text or site visit on a job?). Scheduling an estimate meeting moves the lead to "Estimate" automatically; attendees become the estimators (How do I schedule an estimate walkthrough with my AI?).
Schedule an estimate meeting on [Alvarez Pool Build] in Projul for [Thursday at 9 am] at the job site, with me on it. Also log that I called [Dana] today, reached her, and she wants the meeting after the [15th] because they are travelling.
Working the pipeline and closing it out
Your AI moves a lead to any "Lead pipeline" column, "New", "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" or "Sell", in any order, and flags leads with no contact logged in two weeks, useful each spring and for the winter list.
Marking a lead sold converts it to a project just like dragging it to "Sold", same dates, history, notifications, though it won't publish or approve the estimate; a sold project can keep a Draft estimate (How do I have my AI mark a job sold, completed or lost?).
Note: Your AI cannot email or text the homeowner itself; it logs what you did and drafts what to say, and Projul sends the message (Can my AI message a client directly?).
