Tell your AI the phases of a job, how long each takes and who is on it, and it creates the tasks in Projul and puts them on the "Schedule" for those people, as a regular task, deadline, reminder, meeting or time off.
Building the schedule
Your AI can add phases one at a time, or lay out an entire install in one request.
Build the schedule for [Alvarez Backyard Renovation] in Projul starting [Monday May 4]. Demo and sod cut is [1 day] with [Grace Oakes] and [Priya Hutton]. Base and compaction is [1 day], wall build is [2 days], paver install is [3 days] with all three, irrigation is [1 day] with [Diane Meyer], cleanup is [half a day]. Skip weekends, work days are [7 to 3:30].
It can also stamp the project from a template, copy tasks from a past job, or size phases from the estimate. See starting a project from a template and building a whole job schedule at once.
Crews, dates and checklists
Name the people, or a team, and Projul assigns everyone currently on it; a later roster change will not rewrite scheduled jobs. Your AI can also create a team. See assigning a crew and managing a crew's members.
A task can carry more than one date window, each with its own people, so a phase with a changing crew stays on one task. Rain or a late delivery are ordinary reasons to move dates; your AI shifts the tasks you name, or everything after one.
It is going to rain [Tuesday and Wednesday]. Move [Sod install] and [Mulch and edging] on [Alvarez Backyard Renovation] in Projul out by [two days] and keep the same crews.
Note: Task dependencies on the Gantt are not available to your AI. Say which tasks to move.
Your AI can add task steps, read back which are checked off, and check them off (see using checklists). Mowing and irrigation checks are repeating tasks, not a weekly copy; your AI can set one up, skip a date, or complete one occurrence, but repeating tasks cannot carry checklists. See setting up a repeating task.
Photos and what to know
Your AI can read photos already on a project, attach them to a task or estimate, and hand you a download link. Uploading new photos from your computer needs a file-capable tool; chat assistants cannot. See uploading a job-site photo and attaching files to a task or estimate.
Note: Your AI schedules in your Projul time zone. Only active employees and subcontractors can be assigned. Schedules build steadily; if one stops, ask it to continue and it will not duplicate work. Time tracking, clock-ins and payroll stay in Projul (see features not yet available to your AI).
