Tell your AI who called, what they want and where the property is, and it creates the lead, logs the call, and puts the site visit on the schedule. A lead is a project that has not sold yet, so everything here also works once it becomes a job.
Adding the lead
Name the client the way they already appear in Projul so your AI finds the right person instead of adding a second one. See How does my AI find a client?.
Add a new lead in Projul called [Nguyen Front Yard Refresh] for a new client, [Dana Nguyen], phone [(435) 555-0142], email [dana@example.com]. Property at [1220 E Riverside Dr, St. George, UT 84790]. She was referred by [Sam Alvarez]. Note on the lead: wants low-water planting and drip, no lawn.
A matching first and last name plus the same email or phone stops Projul making a duplicate. See How do I have my AI add a new lead?. Your AI can also log the call that brought the lead in, with the contact method and whether you reached the person. See How do I have my AI log a call, text or site visit on a job?. It cannot text or email the client; those go out from Projul. See Can my AI message a client directly?. Project type, lead source and tags get set in Projul after the lead exists.
Scheduling the walk-through
Creating an estimate meeting schedules the site visit and moves the lead to the "Estimate" stage, same as in the app. Completing that meeting, or an "Estimate to Write" task, moves it along again.
Schedule an estimate meeting on [Alvarez Backyard Renovation] in Projul for [Thursday] at [9 am] for [an hour] with [Grace Oakes]. Add a checklist: [measure patio and wall, check downspouts, locate the irrigation controller, photograph the gate width].
See How do I schedule an estimate walkthrough with my AI?. Afterward, add what you noticed in the yard to the project notes and set the job-site address. See How do I have my AI add project notes and the job-site address?.
Moving leads and following up
The columns in "Lead pipeline" are "New", "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" and "Sell". Your AI can set the likelihood of sale and move a lead to any column, in any order.
It can add a follow-up reminder for a sitting proposal, or list leads gone quiet in a stage. When the answer comes back, it marks the lead sold, converting it to a job, or marks it lost and logs why. See How do I have my AI mark a job sold, completed or lost?.
