Projul AI Connect lets an AI assistant read and change records in your Projul account. You turn it on in "Settings" by creating an API key under "Projul AI Connect", then connect that key to your AI tool.
Contents
Leads and clients
Your AI can add a lead and its client, set the job-site address, note site conditions such as standing water or a utility conflict, set the likelihood of sale, and assign the estimator. It can log a call with the outcome and put a site walk on the schedule as an estimate meeting.
Add a lead for [client name] at [job-site address]. Set the likelihood of sale to [percent], assign [estimator name] as the estimator, and note that the site has [condition, e.g. "standing water at the back of the lot"].

Estimates and change orders
Your AI can build an estimate from a template or from scratch, in the units you bid: cubic yards of cut and fill, loads of export, linear feet of trench, tons of base rock, and machine hours. For each line it sets quantity, unit, cost and markup, and groups lines into sections such as mobilization, mass excavation and utility trenching. When site conditions change the scope, such as rock in a trench, it can add a change order with its own priced sections, including removed scope.
Build an estimate for [client name] on the [job name] project using the [template name] template. Add a section for [scope, e.g. "utility trenching"] with [quantity and unit], cost [$ per unit] and markup [percent].

Scheduling and crews
Your AI can create a task for each phase of a job, put it on the schedule, and assign a person or a named team. A task can carry more than one schedule window, so a multi-day mass excavation stays one task. It can add a checklist, move a window when a phase shifts, and mark a task complete.
Create a task for [phase, e.g. "mass excavation"] on the [job name] project, scheduled [date range], assigned to [team or crew name]. Add a checklist with [items, e.g. "locates verified", "trench box on site"].

Photos and files
Your AI can attach photos and documents to a project, a task or an estimate line, and find and read files already in Projul, such as a plan set, a soils report or a permit. Some AI tools can also upload a new file into Projul.
Attach the [file name, e.g. "soils report"] already in Projul to the [job name] project.

Messages and call logs
Your AI can log a call, text or site visit on a project, client, task or estimate, with the contact method, direction and outcome, so approvals are written on the job record.
Log a phone call on the [job name] project with [client name]. Direction: [inbound or outbound]. Outcome: [what was agreed].

Templates
Your AI can build and update estimate templates, section templates and cost-item entries, such as a standard septic package or a mobilization and erosion-control section, so a repeated scope does not have to be priced from scratch.
Create an estimate template called [template name] with a section for [scope] containing [line items, quantities and units].
See "Estimates".
What your AI cannot do yet
Your AI cannot create, edit or send invoices, or take payments. It cannot clock anyone in or out or read time logs. It cannot create purchase orders, write daily logs, or sync QuickBooks. It cannot publish or send an estimate or a change order to a client; a person does that in Projul.
Note: The current list is kept in Which Projul features are not available to my AI yet?.
