Project leads are located in the lead pipeline. The lead pipeline is organized into multiple phases. A breakdown of each phase is located below.

2.0 Phases of the Lead Pipeline
Overview:
1. The Lead Pipeline is Projul's primary tool for managing, contacting, and estimating potential projects. You can navigate to the lead pipeline by clicking on the "Lead Pipeline" button in the left sidebar.
2. The lead pipeline is organized into phases to help you keep track of the next action items for selling that job. New leads will automatically be added to the "New" section of the lead pipeline.
3. Within a project lead, you can store all of the project information, including:
- Project name
- Project number
- Address
- Project type
- Assigned employees
- Other details or notes
Because Projul is organized on the project level, you can also have multiple jobs going on for the same customer, allowing you to keep all of your project-specific information in one spot.
The lead pipeline has several sections. Leads are designed to move through the lead pipeline by completing the "Next Step" in each phase, which automatically moves the lead to the next section. However, a lead can also be manually moved to any section by dragging and dropping the lead into the appropriate area.
Phases of the Lead Pipeline:
New:
The New section of the lead pipeline is where newly-created leads go. Projul assumes that no communication with your customer has occurred, other than the initial request.
The next recommended action is to record a communication (which will move the lead to contact or schedule).
Contact:
Leads that have been reached out to, but there was no response. Recording an outbound communication with no reply will move a new lead to "contact."
The next recommended action for the lead is to attempt communicating with the customer until you receive a response (which will move the lead to schedule).

Schedule:
Leads which you have communicated with and have received a response from, but you haven't yet scheduled for an estimate meeting. Recording a communication with a reply from the customer will move a new lead to "schedule."
The next recommended action is to schedule an estimate meeting (which will move the lead to estimate).

Estimate:
Leads that have a scheduled estimate meeting. Scheduling a meeting automatically moves the lead to the "estimate" section.
The next recommended action is to complete the estimate meeting (which will move the lead to write).

Write:
Leads with all the information necessary to write the estimate, but the estimate is not yet complete.
Completing an estimate meeting will move a lead from estimate to write.
The next recommended action is to create or edit an estimate (which will open the estimate editor).

Send:
Leads with estimates that are complete, but have not yet been sent to the client.
Marking an estimate “ready to send” will move the lead to send.
The next recommended action is to send the estimate (which will open the estimate editor).
Revise:
Leads with estimates that have been sent to clients but require revisions before getting client approval.
Clients clicking “request a revision” in the estimate will move the lead into revise
The next recommended action is to revise the estimate (which will open the estimate editor).
Sell:
Leads that have a sent estimate, but are not yet ready to start as an active project.
Sending an estimate (or marking it as sent) will move the lead to sell
Note: Approving an estimate does NOT move the lead to sold. This gives you the chance to do things like collect a deposit, get permits, arrange materials, etc. before starting the job.
The next recommended action is to complete the sale (which will move the lead to sold and will show the project in the projects page).
Sold:
Active projects that have completed the sales process. Leads that are moved to sold phase will also display in the projects page. The projects page is an expanded view of the sold category showing more details for each of your sold projects.
Clicking the "Mark estimate sold" button will start a project and move the lead to sold.
The next recommended action is to "complete the project" (which will take you to the project page).
Other Categories:
There a few categories outside the normal flow of the lead pipeline. These categories are:
On Hold:
All of the projects that have been put on hold.
You can put a project on hold through the three-dot menu. Open the three-dot menu for a project and select "Place project lead on hold."
In order to take a project out of hold:
1. Navigate to the on hold phase (click on the clock icon).
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the lead.
3. Click on "Remove on hold status."

Rejected Project Lead:
All project leads that have been marked rejected.
You can navigate to this status by clicking on the "bin" icon at the top right of the pipeline.

Completed Project:
All of the projects which you have marked completed.
This page can be navigated to by clicking the "folder" icon at the top right (the folder icon with a check mark in it).
Please note that completed projects that have been inactive for more than one month will be archived. Archived projects will not be visible in the lead pipeline, but will still be visible from the search bar. If you would like to know more about archived projects, here is an article on them: My Project was Archived, How can I Unarchive it?
Canceled Project:
All canceled projects.
This area contains the projects which were approved and sold but then later canceled.
This page can be navigated to by clicking the "folder" icon at the top right (the folder with an X in it).
