The "To Contact" phase is for lead follow up. Attempts to contact, whether successful or unsuccessful, can be recorded. You can also schedule a follow-up task.
Leads in this phase are awaiting a successful "follow up" to be recorded. To do so:
- Enter into the Lead Pipeline
- Click on the "Next Action" button of the project you wish to use
- Click on the "Record Communication" button on the lead card
Next, record how the lead was communicated with.
Log whether you or the customer attempted contact.
Next, state whether you were successfully connected with the lead.
Next, you can log any notes about the conversation or next action steps that are needed for this lead.
Now any necessary notes can be taken about the conversation for any future use.
Once entered, the communication will be logged to the customer communications channel which can be viewed from the project communication channel. If it was a successful contact, the lead will move to the next status: To Schedule.
If you wish to schedule a follow-up task, that can be done from here as well.

Best practices are to follow up with a non responsive lead 8 times within 7 days. Twice on the first day and once each consecutive day. With Projul you will easily be able to complete all follow up tasks each day while keeping track of all needed notations. No sticky notes all over your monitor anymore!
