Not yet. ChatGPT's custom connectors sign in with OAuth only, and Projul AI Connect uses an API key, a long password you paste into your AI tool once. A custom connector has no field for a key, so there is nowhere to paste it.
How ChatGPT connects to outside tools
ChatGPT's Developer mode, under "Settings" on a paid account, lets you add a custom connector by pasting the tool's MCP address. MCP is the standard that lets an AI tool plug into another product, and it is the standard Projul AI Connect uses. Adding a connector sends you to the tool to sign in with OAuth, the step where a website hands another app access to your account without you typing your password into that app. That sign-in step is the only way ChatGPT authenticates a custom connector.
Why Projul is not there yet
Projul AI Connect identifies you with an API key, and Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI and similar tools accept one. ChatGPT's custom connectors do not. ChatGPT's other route, a custom GPT with an Action, does accept a key, but it needs the technical description of the Projul AI Connect API that Projul does not make available yet. This is a limitation of how the two products fit together today, not a problem with your account or your key.
What to use in the meantime
