Projul AI Connect writes land in Projul the moment it confirms them, the same as an app change. If you do not see one, you are likely looking in the wrong place, viewing a stale page, or your AI described a plan rather than a result.
Check what your AI actually did
Nothing is written until you approve it, unless you already chose "Always allow" for that action. Zapier, Make, and n8n have no approval step; check the run history instead. A denied or closed approval card means nothing was written, and "would" or "can" language may just describe a plan. A real change ends with confirmation, usually the record's number, such as "created P-1597". An error, such as a stale version or a missing field, means the write failed; see What do "version" and "stale" errors mean?
Look in the right place
Common spots your AI's work is hiding:
- A lead sits in "Lead pipeline" under the stage your AI set (not always "New"); it stays off "Projects" until sold, and can move to "Estimate" after a meeting is scheduled.
- A client is under "People" and "Clients", sorted by last name; use the filter icon.
- A dateless task is missing from "Schedule" and the default "Task list" range; set that date dropdown to "Unscheduled", or enable "Unscheduled tasks" under "Customize" on "Gantt".
- An estimate sits at the top of "Estimates" sorted by estimate date.
- A project or lead note is under its three-dot menu, in "Open Messages" ("Project Notes" is a separate field, under "Show more"). A client or task note works the same way, in that record's channel (a task's channel also opens from its card's menu). An estimate note is stored and readable by your AI, but has no message channel in the app.
Refresh the page, or ask your AI to check
A page open a long time shows what it loaded, not what Projul holds now; reload it, or ask your AI to read the record back.
Read the [Rivera Kitchen Remodel] lead back from Projul and tell me its status and address.
A successful read-back means the page was filtered or stale. If it cannot find the record, the change was never made; ask it to try again.
Check the key and the connection
If changes are refused, your AI may hold a Read key. See Should I give my AI a Read key or a Read-Write key? If it cannot reach Projul at all, see How do I check that my AI is connected to Projul?
