Displayed Company Contact Information
Overview
To find project settings:
- Click your name on the bottom left corner of the screen
- Select settings
- Open the settings dropdown menu
- Select project settings
NOTE: After making settings changes in Projul, please remember to click save!
Project Settings Sections
Pro Plan Features
The Pro Plan section of project settings show whether or not Projul has photo reports enabled.
Photo reports are an easy way to share summaries and photos of a job with clients. Photos can be given descriptions and tags to clearly communicate job information.

A checkmark will display if photo reports are already enabled, and if not enabled there, is a button to start a free photo reports trial.
Project Details
These settings control:
- Default project / lead color: Specifies a default project lead color
- Project Info Displayed on Tasks: Determines whether the project number displays on tasks and/or if project notes show on tasks
- Project Photos & Files: Determines if photos and files attached to the project are also attached to tasks
- Project card options: Used to control what info the project card displays, including:
- Client info
- Estimate
- Communications / channels
- Files
- Photos
- Camera icon
- Time log info
Universal Number
The universal number setting is used to adjust the default next number for new projects/estimates/invoices. If an estimate/invoice is created from a project, it will automatically have the same number as the project, but if an estimate/invoice is created on its own it will used the next universal number.
This number automatically changes as new items are created and new numbers are used.
NOTE: To prevent duplicates you cannot turn this number lower.
Project Number Rules
Project number rules settings controls:
- Project Number Generation: When toggled on, this setting automatically generates project numbers using the next universal number
- Minimum Number Length: Determines the minimum number of digits that a project can have (zeros will be added to numbers that do not have enough digits)
- Prefix: Displays a prefix before the project number (eg PRO)
- Delimiter: Displays a character that separates the number from the prefix and suffix
- Suffix: Displays a suffix after the project number
As you change the settings the example will change as well.
Photo Reports
This section is only available if you have photo reports enables from the "Pro Features" section. Photo reports are an easy way to share summaries and photos of a job with clients. Photos can be given descriptions and tags to clearly communicate job information.

Photo report settings include:
- Photo Report Email: The email template used to draft the email used to send a photo report
- Send Document Behavior: How emails from Projul are sent to your customer
- Sending the email using Projul
- Opening up your email app with the template inserted
- Just opening up your email app
- Viewing the email template (to copy/paste)
- Projul Default Email CC: Specifies a default cc email address on photo report emails
Displayed Company Contact Information
These settings specify the company information that will display to customers on projects, invoices, etc. including:
- License number
- Company Address
- Company email
- Company phone number
- Company website
Project Templates
This setting is a link to the project templates page.
The project template link opens a pop up that shows all the project template you currently have. To go into one and edit it, click on the three. dot menu to the right and click on "Edit".

The schedule template link opens up the schedule templates page, where schedule templates can be added, edited or deleted as desired.
