From the Project Timeline View on the Projects page, you can press one of the two-sided arrow icons to adjust all tasks after that point to either extend or reduce the time between the tasks.
Start by opening the Projects page and selecting the "Project Timeline View." You can then find the project that you are trying to adjust the schedule of.
Next, you will notice that between each task is a two-sided arrow icon along with the number of days between each task. To adjust the number of days between one task and all of the tasks that come after it, click one of the plus sign buttons.
Within the pop-up window that appears, you can opt to skip days off (weekends by default) and to adjust the spacing of days between the tasks, called "Sliding."
Select a date for the first task after the arrow you selected to fall on. This will also adjust all tasks after it by the same number of days to maintain the spacing between the tasks.
You can then confirm your changes by pressing "Slide Schedule"
In this example, we increased the gap by 3 days. The first task lands on the day we selected (January 30th).
This method can also be used to adjust the timeframe backwards by following the same steps, but choosing a date in the past rather than in the future.
