How do I change the time or day of a task or the estimate meeting?

Tasks can be rescheduled on the "Schedule" page by dragging and dropping the task (for a simple date change) or by using the "Reschedule Task" button from the task drop down menu (for more detailed date and time changes).

Changing the date and time of a Task by using the "Reschedule Task" button

To change the time or day of a task: 

1. Click the "Schedule" tab on the left sidebar
2. Click the three-dot menu on the task you wish to move
3. Click the "Reschedule task" button

This will open up the editor. In here, you can change who is scheduled, when the task is scheduled and add more days to the task.

To change when it is scheduled, click on the edit button to the right of the date.

This will open a more detailed view of the editor. From here you can change the time and day of a task, as well as mark it as "Overnight", or "Tentative".

You can pick up a task by clicking and holding on the task card and dragging it around. Projul has the functionality to simple drag and drop a task from one day to another. To drop the task, simply hover it over the desired day and stop holding the mouse button

This will open up a confirmation window asking if you would like to move to task.

Once dropped:

• The date of the task is changed to the day in the schedule where you dropped it
• The start and end time of the task remains the same

You can also drag a task up or down to a different employee's schedule to switch the assigned employee.

Changing time and date of estimate meeting

Within the Schedule settings, you are able to adjust the task start time and days after the meeting.

To change the default time or number of days after the estimate meeting that the "write estimate" task takes place:

1.  Click on your profile picture
2.  Select "Settings" from the profile menu
3.  Click on the dropdown arrow to get into the Scheduling settings
4.  At the very bottom of the settings, you can change the default time that the "Write Estimate" task takes place
