Custom fields can be added to Estimates by inputing a label to the desired field within the "Estimates" section of the general settings sidebar. Once created, they will show up on your Estimates, where you can enter the custom field data. These custom fields can be transferred over to QBO when syncing an Estimate between the two systems.
Open the user menu by clicking on the button with your initials in the bottom left corner of the Projul main screen. From this menu, select "Settings."
Open the dropdown menu at the top of the Settings sidebar on the right side of the screen. From the list, select the "Estimates" option.
Scroll near the bottom of the Estimates settings until reaching the header titled "Custom Estimate Fields." Here, there are 3 text boxes which are associated with labels for up to three custom fields that can be added to an Estimate.
Now, navigate to the Estimate Editing tool for any Estimate. Note that there is now a custom field with the label you submitted in the text box within the Estimates setting tab.
To sync these custom fields to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, first log in to QBO and click the "cog/gear" icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select "Account and settings" from the dropdown menu that is displayed.
On the left sidebar, select the "Sales" tab. Within the "Sales form content" section, click on "Custom Fields" to open the editor for that line.
Enter the same custom field in QBO that EXACTLY matches what was entered in Projul. You can use the checkboxes to show these labels internally and/or publicly.
Now, when an Estimate is synced from Projul's database to QBO's, the entry in the custom field will transfer over as well.
