Projul works out every total your AI reports the same way the app does, so a number that looks different is usually a different figure, not a wrong one. Here are the usual cases.

Projected, published, approved and invoiced totals
An estimate carries several totals at once, and Projul gives your AI all of them. The projected total is the whole document, approved work and change orders included, and it matches the headline number Projul shows on the estimate. The unpublished total is only the work still on the Draft. The published total is what the client can see, the approved total is what the client has agreed to, and there are separate invoiced and paid totals.
A Draft estimate has a projected total but a published and approved total of zero, so "what is the total" and "what has the client approved" have different answers. Ask your AI for the one you mean. Until a version is approved, figures Projul derives from approved work, such as revenue, profit, margin and tax, also read zero on an estimate that still carries a full price. Tax that has not been applied
An estimate your AI built without naming a tax rate has no tax on it, so its total is lower than one you built in the app with your default rate. Tax needs a rate on the estimate and lines marked taxable; on an account that taxes per line instead of per estimate, the rate belongs on each line. Counts of clients, projects and tasks
Projul gives your AI lists a page at a time, newest first, and leaves out archived clients and deleted records. An AI answering from just the first page may say "at least 25" instead of the true count. Clients and projects also count differently: your AI only sees active clients, so its count runs lower than an app count that includes archived ones, while it sees every project and every task regardless of status, completed, terminated and rejected included, so those counts can run higher than a filtered app list. Ask it to read every page and tell it which statuses you want.
Count every active client in Projul. Read all the pages.
Count the projects in Projul that are sold or in progress. Ignore completed, terminated and rejected ones, and read all the pages.
File counts
Some files in Projul are not visible to your AI, such as photos attached only to a task, phone photos in HEIC format, and zip files the app made. See How do I get a file back out of Projul with my AI?
Your AI rounded or summarised
An AI answering "about $13,000" or "roughly forty tasks" is summarising rather than counting. Ask for the exact figure and it quotes Projul's number.

How to check
Open the record in Projul and compare. If the two still disagree once you have matched the same figure, tell us which record and which number, and we will look into it.
