Tell your AI what happened and which job it was about, and it logs the communication on the project in Projul: how you reached the client, who made contact, and whether you got through. It shows up in the project's "Messages".
What to say to your AI
Your AI needs a Read-Write key to log a communication, since it changes your account. See How do I get my Projul AI Connect API key? if you have not connected it yet.
Log on [Rivera Kitchen Remodel] in Projul that I called [Sam Rivera] today, reached him, and he confirmed the start date.
Log on [Rivera Kitchen Remodel] in Projul that I tried calling [Sam] at 4 pm and got no answer.
What gets recorded
Your AI writes a message with your text, plus the method (call, text, email or in person), the direction (outbound when you reached out, inbound when the client contacted you), and, for a call or in-person visit, whether contact succeeded, so a missed call logs as unsuccessful. A text or email records only the method and direction. It can also set the date and time if you tell it when it happened.
Note: An in-person visit has no direction, only whether it happened.
Note: This logs to the project's "Messages", not "Client Follow-Ups", so it does not count toward the follow-up count on "Lead pipeline". Use "Record communication & schedule follow-up reminders" in Projul when a contact needs to count as a follow-up.
What you will see
Your AI asks you to approve the action, then confirms it logged the message. In Projul, open the project's three-dot menu and click "Open Messages"; the newest entry is at the bottom of the thread with the method, direction and whether contact succeeded.
Logging on a client, task or estimate instead
A message can also attach to a client, a task or an estimate instead of a project. If a call was about a client in general rather than one job, say so, and your AI puts it there. See How do I add messages to clients, tasks and estimates with my AI?.
