Your AI can update a client's name, company, phone numbers, emails, address, website, client number, additional contacts, and assigned people, the same fields you edit from the client's card under "People" and "Clients". It only changes what you ask it to; everything else on the client stays the same.
What to say to your AI
Your AI needs a Read-Write key and must find the right client first, so name the client clearly. See How does my AI find a client? Tell it what to change:
Update [Sam Rivera] in Projul. His mobile is now [(435) 555-0187] and his email is [sam.rivera@example.com].
Lists are replaced as a whole set
Phone numbers, emails, websites, addresses, and additional contacts are each a list on the client, and so is the set of people assigned as sales rep, estimator, or project manager. When your AI changes one of these, it reads the client first, then sends back the whole list plus your change. Tell it to add a number without mentioning the others, and it keeps them.
Add a second phone number to [Sam Rivera] in Projul, work line [(435) 555-0190], and keep his mobile.
Naming a new sales rep works the same way and replaces the whole set of assigned people, so name everyone you want on the client, not only the one you're changing.
Note: Projul recognizes a client by first and last name together with an email address or a phone number, and any email or phone already on the client can be the one that matches. The first phone number and first email are the client's main ones; when a list is replaced, the first item your AI sends becomes the first one on the client.
What you will see
Your AI asks you to approve the change, then confirms what it changed. In Projul, click "People" in the left menu, then "Clients". Find the client, click the arrow next to their name, and click "Edit client info" to see the new details in the "Editing Client" panel.
