The "To Estimate" section is for leads that have had an estimate meeting scheduled.
Below is an image of the "To Estimate" section within Projul's Lead Pipeline feature.
There are two automated methods and one manual method to move leads through the "To Estimate" section of the Lead Pipeline.
First Automated Method: Have an Estimator complete the "Estimate Meeting" task
If the project has been moved through all previous stages of the Lead Pipeline as designed, then there should already be a Estimate Meeting task scheduled for that Project. If a Estimate meeting task has not been scheduled, then we will have to create a Estimate meeting task manually.
To do this, click on the three lines task list icon in the top right corner of the Lead. Within the task list, choose the "Add a New Task" option.
Select the "Estimate Meeting" option beneath the Tasks subsection.
This will open up the Task Editing sidebar tool on the right hand side of the screen. Navigate to highlighted area in the image below and select the "Schedule Estimate Meeting" button.
Complete the two highlighted fields, "Who" and "When", with the Estimator you are assigning to this Lead and with the date and time agreed upon with the potential client in the previous section, "To Schedule". Once this information has been filled in accurately, save and close the Task Editing sidebar.
Select the task list icon on the Lead. We will see that now the "Estimate Meeting" task has been created and assigned to our Estimator.
Navigate to the Task List by selecting the highlighted icon in the image below.
Once in the Task List, select the filter icon in the top right hand corner, input the Estimator's name in the empty search field, and select the Estimator from the search results below. This will show only the tasks to which the Estimator is assigned to, simulating their Task List page on their own account.
Scroll down the Task List until reaching the "Estimate Meeting" task associated with our Lead, which is highlighted in the image below. In the additional highlighted fields we can see that the Estimator is assigned to the task and that they have access to mark the Estimate meeting complete with a toggle. Toggling this complete will move the Lead forward in the Lead Pipeline.
Jumping back into the Lead Pipeline via the lefthand sidebar and navigating to the "To Write" section, we will see that our Lead has automatically shifted forward from the "To Estimate" section due to the completion of the "Estimate Meeting" task by the Estimator.
Second Automated Method: Have an Admin user mark the estimate meeting as complete
Starting again from the Lead Pipeline once the "Estimate Meeting" task has been created and assigned to an Estimator, select the "Next Action: Complete Estimate Meeting" drop down menu in the bottom right corner of the Lead. Choose the bottom option, "Mark Estimate Meeting Complete"
Note that the Lead we have been following is no longer in the "To Estimate" section. Now the Lead has been moved to the "To Write" section.
Manual Method: Have an Admin User drag and drop the Lead into a new section
A user with Admin privileges can move a lead forward and backward through the lead pipeline.
To do this, click and hold on the square, colored tile on the left side of the lead you want to move. Continuing to hold down the mouse button, drag the tile around. You will notice that the tile follows the cursor as you move it. You can drag the tile into any of the sections along the Lead Pipeline. When you are ready to drop it into the desired stage, simply stop holding the mouse button.
Upon the release of the mouse button, you will be met with the following warning message to confirm that you intended to move the Lead from "To Estimate" to another section. Make sure to select the "Move Project Lead" option to confirm the move.
As you can see below, the lead has been moved from the "To Estimate" to the "To Write" section. You can use this method to move a lead from any section to any other section in the lead pipeline.
