Some things you may ask your AI to do in Projul are not part of Projul AI Connect yet, and some requests do not name the record clearly enough for your AI to act on. Each request below is paired with wording that works.
"Send the estimate to the client"
Publishing and sending are done in Projul. Say instead:
Check the [Thompson Deck Rebuild] estimate in Projul for anything odd and tell me if it is ready to send. I will send it from Projul.

"Invoice the client" or "record the payment"
Invoices and payments are not available to your AI yet. It can read an estimate's invoiced and paid totals. Say instead:
How much of the [Thompson Deck Rebuild] estimate in Projul has been invoiced and paid, and what is left to invoice?
"Clock me in" or "how many hours did Grace work"
Time tracking is not available to your AI yet. It can tell you what was scheduled. Say instead:
How many hours was [Grace Oakes] scheduled for in Projul last week, by job?
"Text the client that we are running late"
Your AI cannot message a client. It can draft the text and log that you sent it. Say instead:
Draft a short text to [Sam Rivera] saying we are running about an hour late today. After I send it, log on [Rivera Kitchen Remodel] in Projul that I texted him.
"Here is a photo, add it to the job" in a chat
A chat assistant cannot upload files into Projul. A tool that runs on your computer can. Say instead, in Claude Code:
Upload [~/Desktop/framing-day-3.jpg] to [Thompson Deck Rebuild] in Projul and label it [Framing, day 3].
Or add the photo in Projul and then ask your AI to label it or attach it to a task.
"Find the Johnson job"
Projul finds a client by full name or email in one step, but a project is found by reading the project list and matching, so "the Johnson job" makes your AI guess between every Johnson. Give the client's full name or the job name. Say instead:
Find the projects in Projul for the client [Dale Johnson], and open the one called [Johnson Garage Addition].
"Make a second estimate for this project"
A project holds one estimate. Extra work goes on a change order, or on a new project. Say instead:
Add a change order to the [Thompson Deck Rebuild] estimate in Projul for [the privacy screen].
"Change the price on the approved estimate"
An approved estimate is locked, the same as in the app. Say instead:
Add a change order to [Thompson Deck Rebuild] in Projul that [removes the aluminum railing and adds cable railing at $2,856].
"Apply my deck template" without saying which kind
Projul has several kinds of template. Your AI applies your project and schedule templates, which create the tasks, and it can build and reuse estimate templates, section templates and the cost-item library, which create the pricing. It applies project and schedule templates but does not create them, and photo report templates are not available to it. A project template does not bring its estimate along. Say which you mean, or ask for both:
Create [Rivera Deck Rebuild] in Projul for [Sam Rivera] from my [Composite Deck] project template starting [October 6], then build its estimate from my [Composite Deck] estimate template.
